You will join 25 dedicated experts, engaging with institutional and private actors to integrate human rights into national, international and corporate regulation, standards and performance. Drawing on decades of experience within research, tools development, advisory and dialogue, HRD is internationally recognised as a world class knowledge provider and partner - an ideal opportunity for you to obtain human rights expertise and contribute to sustainable development.  
 
As one of four students in HRD, your specific responsibility will be to support the department director. Expect to be involved in managerial tasks, planning as well as administrative duties. To succeed you will need strong interpersonal skills, be a fast learner, possess a good sense of order and not least thrive in ever changing environments.  
 
MAIN TASKS  

  • Assisting the department director in the operation of the department  
  • Organise internal/external meetings, including planning and taking notes  
  • Research on topics related to human rights, business and sustainable development  
  • Administrative task, such as travel support and archiving      
 
QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Currently enrolled in a university program at master level with 2 years left of studying  
  • Administrative skills, including the ability to coordinate varied tasks.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and thoroughly  
  • Experience with administrative systems such as SASfm, ESDH 360 and proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint will be an asset  
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both Danish and English is required, and fluency in other languages in particular French and Spanish will be an asset.  
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary is set in accordance with the Danish Ministry of Finances agreement with The Union of Commercial and Clerical Employees in Denmark. The weekly work time is 15 hours two days a week on average. We expect that you will be able to begin working as soon as possible.
